Hytertech – Smart Hydroponics Monitoring App

Jun 2024 – Dec 2024 Description: + Built a mobile application for monitoring and controlling a smart hydroponic system in real-time. + The system tracks environmental data (humidity, light, temperature, nutrition, pH, EC) and allows users to remotely adjust settings such as lighting, watering, and nutrient levels. Role & Responsibilities: + Developed the entire mobile app UI/UX using React Native. + Integrated real-time data visualization and control via MQTT protocol. + Configured Raspberry Pi as the control hub connected to IoT sensors and actuators. + Prepared and presented a live demo before the university’s innovation committee. Results & Highlights: + Won First Prize at the 2024 University Startup Innovation Competition. + Successfully demonstrated stable automation and remote control via mobile app. + Highly praised by the jury for its commercialization potential and tech stack integration.
