DECATHLON • HCMC, Vietnam May 2015 – Presence Development and Industrialization Production Leader – Footwear Industry Responsibilies: Quality & Cost Control, Product Development Projects: 1. Compound development projects for running, walking shoes • High resilience compound for EVA midsole - running shoes: monitor process parameters and final product quality to ensure production stabilization. Received good feedback from weartest (targeted 1000km long run) and positive sales volume. • Rubber Anti-Slip compound for Rubber outsole – tennis shoes: sourced high tensile strength & blowing agent chemical. Conducted producion trial with different formula to choose suitable formula with best friction coefficients. This project is progressing. 2. Seasonally price negotiation • Identified material price trend, product forecast and monitor previous season turn over and quantity. Achieved 3-4% price decrease for 2015 Fall-Winter purchasing season. 3. Supplier management • Coordinated the supplier audit to achieve Decathlon required level of Quality, Health & Safty. Opened one strategic sole supplier in Jan 2016. • Coordinated with supply planning team, analysed production planning of factory to justify the correct planning to achive on time delivery.
